INAUGURAL SUMMIT // SEPTEMBER 2026

Help Write The Next Chapter.

A storytelling and preservation initiative rooted in Cambridge, Maryland — the land that shaped Harriet Tubman.

The story has already started.

We began by listening.

The strongest thing we found was not a script. It was the room.

We gathered people whose lives, family histories, service and work intersect with this place and asked questions that gave the conversation room to reveal itself. What emerged was a foundational story carried almost entirely by real voices — and people stayed with it.

These conversations are worth preserving.

Watch the story.

A first chapter, not a final answer.

No narrator telling the audience what to think. No forced conclusion. Just the people who carry this history, speaking from the community where it lives.

What we’re preserving:

Not just events.
Rooms where history gets carried forward.

The value is not in the schedule alone. It is in what happens when the right people sit down and tell the truth.

Testimony

Firsthand voices, family stories and community memory.

Place

The land, water, streets and spaces where the history lives.

Exchange

Unscripted conversations across generations and perspectives.

Continuity

What this generation chooses to hand to the next.

The larger opportunity.

Each gathering can become a chapter.

The foundational story stands on its own. Together with what comes next, it can become a living body of work that preserves the inaugural Summit with greater depth.

  • The Land Remembers

  • Service + General Tubman

  • Faith + Freedom

  • Land + Self-Sufficiency

  • The Next Generation

We are not manufacturing a narrative. We are protecting one.

Production Target.

$20,000

Meaningful production can begin around $10K. The $20K target and beyond allows the work to be approached with greater depth, time and care.

What support makes possible.

Capture

Priority Summit moments, interviews, environments and the rooms where exchange happens.

Shape

Transcription, story architecture, interview review and documentary-style editing.

Release

Short-form assets, rollout support and a connected digital path.

Preserve

A living record for education, outreach and future conversation.

“History is a continuum.”

Every generation inherits a chapter. Every generation is responsible for what it writes next. The first story is complete, but the history unfolding around this inaugural Summit is still being written.
